Virtual Edge Hosting's services. Failure to read this document may lead to problems with understanding our policy and un-expected suspension/termination of your account.
General Provisions
All existent and future users agree to the following terms of use.

Age restrictions
No person under 13 should disclose information on this site. You may learn more about protecting children's privacy online by visiting http://www.ftc.gov/kidzprivacy
Content restrictions
Client agrees that all files uploaded on our servers will not violate in any country. Examples of unacceptable uses of webspace include: adult contents with models who's age is less than 18 years (for some countries this can be 21 y.o.), illegal MP3's or any other media files, IRC bots or/and servers, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, warez, cracks, serial numbers.
Virtual Edge Hosting will be the final arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this policy.
SPAM or UCE
SPAM, originating from customer's account is not tolerated. This applies to every single email that promotes website or resource hosted on provider's server.
Use of account as a source of SPAM will lead to immediate account suspension.
Virtual Edge Hosting reserves the right to terminate any account without prior notice upon indication of SPAM activity.
Bandwidth Usage
We offer large amounts of bandwidth for our customers. Bandwidth is allocated on "per month" basis.
Virtual Edge Hosting reserves the right to suspend user's account in case of high server resource usage or/and bandwidth usage, which often happens in case of [D]DoS attacks. Account can be unsuspended by contacting provider's staff members.
Excessive Server Resources Usage
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor and memory utilization. Any account using more than 15% of the server for period of time longer than 60 seconds will be suspended and customer will be notified.
There are a lot of problems that could cause excessive server usage: mis-configured CGI scripts, problems with SQL databases, etc. This policy is implemented in extreme circumstances and intended to avoid servers misuse.
Account Cancellation/Termination
If you are not satisfied with provided services and you wish to cancel your account, you have the right to do so. To cancel an account, you need to notify Provider's staff members and provide complete reason for cancellation. Funds will be refunded in amount of unused month(s) on your balance. Complete refund will be provided if customer requests refund within 5 days from subscription date.
Provider uptime guarantee
The Virtual Edge Hosting's network of servers will have guaranteed aggregate average uptime of 99.9% for the period of every three months. The uptime guarantee, however, excludes scheduled servers/network maintenance (which are minimal in downtime in most cases); upstream network (backbone) provider problems; disasters such as earthquake.
Refund policy
No funds will be returned to customer in case of terms violation.
Payments
Customer agrees to provide complete and accurate payment details to us. Use of false information (such as stolen credit cards/bank accounts) will lead to account termination without notice and report to authorities. All accounts are setup on monthly basis, unless stated otherwise during registration. Every customer required to provide complete payment for his/her account by the end of his/her billing period; failure to do so will lead to account suspension and re-activation fees if customer decides to re-open account within two weeks after suspension. Customers, refusing to provide payment, will be suspended for the period of two weeks, and terminated afterwards if no payment provided during given time.
Security of account
All users agree to use best efforts to protect their account access information (username and password in most cases). Lost passwords can be restored by contacting provider with proof information that you are the actual owner of an account. You agree that you will not try to decompile or disassemble or otherwise alter any executable code, contents or materials located on the company's servers.
Hack attempts
Client, that will be found hacking or attempting to hack in any way, will be terminated immediately without refund.
Use of compiler and developer libraries located on the server
Users agree to use C/C++ compiler (GCC/G++ in most cases), located on the servers, to compile only legitimate code. Attempts to compile so called exploits or any other kind of code that can harm work of the server, will lead to full account suspension and termination. Developer libraries and related files, located on the server or placed by any other way into your account, should be used only to compile/create/run legitimate binaries.
3rd party software/scripts
We do not guarantee that ALL 3rd party software or/and scripts will work on your account. Clients are to install and support any 3rd party scripts on their own.
Virtual Edge Hosting will try to provide help with non-working scripts/software only if it takes no more than 10 minutes per problem.
IP address allocation for shared hosting customers
Customer may request up to 5 IP addresses on his/her account. Every requests IP has to be justified by Customer; no IP should be used to support illegal activities. Legitimate examples of IP address usage include: Anonymous FTP server, SSL secured site, etc.
